I didn't expect to relax that fast. I walked in stiff and walked out… noticeably looser.

How it works

Comen is a premium coworking and nervous-system wellness space built around platonic touch therapy. Think of it as a calmer, more human version of coworking: a place where members can work, decompress, and receive safe, consent-based physical comfort from trained cuddlers. It is not dating, massage, therapy, or sex work. It is structured human contact for people who want to feel more grounded, more regulated, and more at ease in their own body.

Members book a session through the app or at the front desk. Before every session, both the member and cuddler review boundaries, comfort preferences, and the type of support the member is looking for. A session may include sitting together, leaning on each other, holding hands, side-by-side resting, or quiet cuddling in a designated lounge area. Members can read, work on a laptop, listen to music, talk softly, or settle into stillness. Every session starts with consent and can be paused or ended at any time.

Both formats may be available. One-on-one sessions are for members who want a more private, focused experience with a trained cuddler. Group sessions are designed for members who want a softer communal setting, such as a calm lounge, guided decompression hour, or shared rest space with clear boundaries and staff supervision. No one is required to participate in group touch. Members choose the format that feels most natural, comfortable, and spacious.

Platonic touch therapy means intentional, non-sexual physical comfort. At Comen, touch is always consent-based, fully clothed, and clearly bounded. The goal is not romance or attraction. The goal is nervous-system support, rest, and human connection. It is intimate care without romantic obligation.

Comen will launch first in the Castro in San Francisco, with plans to expand to Hell's Kitchen in New York. Members can join the waitlist to get updates on the first location.

Safety & Trust

Cuddlers are trained professionals who specialize in consent-based platonic touch, emotional presence, and boundary-aware care. Every cuddler goes through screening, onboarding, and ongoing training around consent, safety, communication, trauma awareness, and professional conduct. They are not necessarily romantic partners, therapists, or massage providers. Their role is to provide safe, grounded, non-sexual physical comfort in a calm, professional setting.

Comen is built with privacy in mind. Bookings, member profiles, and session preferences are treated as confidential. Members are not required to explain why they are visiting, and spaces are designed to feel like a premium coworking or wellness environment. Staff are trained to protect member privacy, avoid unnecessary disclosure, and keep the experience discreet from start to finish.

Safety is central to the Comen experience. All sessions are fully clothed, consent-based, and guided by clear rules. Members and cuddlers agree to boundaries before every session, and either person can pause or end the session at any time. Spaces are monitored by trained staff, and inappropriate behavior can result in immediate removal from the platform. Comen is designed to make touch feel clear, respectful, and emotionally safe.

Yes. Comen accepts applications from people who are emotionally grounded, communicative, respectful of boundaries, and comfortable providing platonic touch in a professional setting. The application process includes screening, interviews, consent training, and practical onboarding. Prior experience in wellness, caregiving, therapy-adjacent work, hospitality, coaching, or community care may be helpful, but the most important qualities are emotional maturity, warmth, discretion, and respect for consent.
